Garden Fair & Native Plant Sale (6/6-8) Schedule for Saturday, June 7
Ready for something new and exciting? From Friday through Sunday, June 6-8, rain or shine, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens will present its first-ever Garden Fair, with a delightful Preview Party on Thursday, June 5, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
The Garden Fair is free with regular admission. There is plentiful free parking available at the Boothbay Fire Department on Route 27, with free shuttle buses running to the Gardens and Garden Fair every few minutes.
Garden Fair workshops and classes will continue throughout the day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 6-8. Nearly all are free with regular Gardens admission. The following is the schedule for Saturday, June 7. To register for the two classes with fees, see the bottom of this page.

Wildflower Propagation: Transplanting Seedlings and Rooting Cuttings with Bill Cullina - 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Bill Cullina, Plant & Garden Curator at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, will lead this three-hour lecture/workshop covering propagation from cuttings, container growing, and transplantation. Learn about basic plant physiology and anatomy, cutting techniques, container design, soil mixes and fertilization. Practice taking cuttings and transplanting seedlings of various wildflowers to take home. Bring a sharp pair of scissors or pruners.
