At the Gardens, ornamental grasses are at their peak! Check out the Skyracer purple moor grass (Molinia caerulea subsp. arundinacea ‘Skyracer’) in the Lerner Garden of the Five Senses, the prairie dropseed (Sporobolus heterolepis) on the Great Lawn and the switch grass (Panicum virgatum) in the Haney Hillside Garden. Additionally, the autumn crocus (Colchicum cilicicum) in the Giles Rhododendron and Perennial Garden and the Autumn Enchanter woodland sage (Salvia glabrescens ‘Autumn Enchanter’) in the Bibby and Harold Alfond Children’s Garden are blooming beautifully!
