Across the Garden’s, asters are blooming! Look for the purple flowers of the Raydon’s Favorite aromatic aster (Symphyotrichum oblongifolium ‘Raydon’s Favorite’) in the Pond Garden and the white flowers of Chilly Winds New England aster (Symphyotrichum novae-angliae ‘Chilly Winds’) in the Lerner Garden of the Five Senses. Also blooming, is the Plum Peachy tall ironweed (Vernonia angustifolia ‘Plum Peachy’) in the Cleaver Lawn and the Snow Flurry heath aster (Symphyotrichum ericoides ‘Schneegitter’) in the Haney Hillside Garden.
