It is late summer in Maine, and the vibrant and dramatic Hibiscus blossoms have started to open! Check out the powdery blue flowers of the Blue Chiffon ‘Notwoodthree’ hibiscus in the Bibby & Harold Alfold Children’s Garden. The Pond Gardens are dotted with tufts of white Hydrangea blooms this week, which contrast nicely with the strong colors of the coneflower (Echinacea) cultivars flowering nearby.
