Beautiful and fragrant sweetshrub (Clethra alnifolia) flowers are blooming across the gardens! Look the pink blooms of Ruby Spice sweetshrub (Clethra alnifolia ‘Ruby Spice’) in the Lerner Garden of the Five Senses and the fragrant white flowers of Paniculata sweetshrub (Clethra alnifolia ‘Paniculata’) in the Haney Hillside Garden. Also blooming are the funky flowers of the SUPERSEMP® Onyx hens and chicks (Sempervivum ‘Onyx’) in the Butterfly House gardens and the perfectly spherical flowers of the Sputnik buttonbush (Cephalanthus occidentalis ‘Sputnik’) in the Borsarge Education Center gardens.
