What’s In Bloom – June 25, 2024

What's In Bloom

Highlights: With the buds of lilies (Lilium) beginning to open across the grounds, visitors can expect to see a spectacular variety of this beautiful genus in their time spent at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens this week. Additionally, small trees and large shrubs are taking center stage, with kousa dogwoods (Cornus kousa) and sweetshrubs (Calycanthus spp.) prominently blooming on the Cleaver Lawn and the Café Entrance Walk respectively. Guests can spot dancing crane cobra lily (Arisaema heterophyllum) in the Vayo Meditation Garden.
