Autumn is here at the Gardens, and the autumn flowering plants are blooming beautifully! Check out the lovely purple, pink and white asters opening across the gardens! The deep pink flowers of the Alma Potschke New England aster (Symphyotrichum novae-angliae ‘Andenken an Alma Potschke’) on the Great Lawn are especially lovely. Also blooming are a variety of toad-lilies. Don’t miss the large white flowers of the Jim’s Tall Towers toad-lily (Tricyrtis ‘Jim’s Tall Towers’) in the Bibby and Harold Alfond Children’s Garden, and the delicate, yellow bell-shaped flowers of the toad-lily (Tricyrtis macranthopsis) in the Arbor Garden.
