March 25 @ 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Tuesdays, March 25 & April 1, 3 – 5:30 p.m.
In this two-part online class, we will introduce, review, and practice the art of kitchen garden design. Kitchen garden designer, grower, and author Ellen Ecker-Ogden will feature several designs and concepts to inspire you, then explain cultural considerations, artful elements, and plant selection.
Ellen will guide students through designing their own kitchen garden and offer time to practice between sessions. Students are responsible for their own design supplies: 11×17 graph paper, trace paper, drafting pencils and eraser, engineer drafting scale (ruler), landscape template, colored pencils, and drafting dots.
