Private Snowshoe/Hike & Wood-Fired Lunch with Walkers Maine

Embrace the season with a revitalizing winter walk or snowshoe followed by a cozy wood-fired lunch prepared by Walkers Maine. In partnership with Your Maine Concierge, this opportunity allows exclusive access to the Gardens during the closed season. Tickets are limited to ensure an intimate experience. The price includes entrance to the Gardens, a delicious wood-fired gourmet lunch, a hot cider beverage, tax, and gratuity. Alcoholic beverages are available at an additional cost.

11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Guests will enjoy exclusive access to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. A 90-minute suggested route will visit all five of Thomas Dambo’s “Guardians of the Seeds” Trolls. For those with lower mobility, we welcome you to stay in the Great Lawn area to enjoy the quiet gardens. Hiking shoes, cleats, or snowshoes are recommended.
12:30 – 2 p.m.
Join fellow guests on communal tables for warm cider and a hearty, gourmet, wood-fired buffet prepared by Justin Walker of Walkers Maine.
Walkers Maine: Walkers Maine is the culinary vision of Four Diamond AAA and HospitalityMaine’s Restauranteur of the Year Chef Justin Walker, and Sommelier Danielle Johnson Walker. The Walkers honed their skills at the acclaimed Arrows Restaurant in Ogunquit. Justin was Chef du Cuisine, while Danielle was Manager and Wine Director. They went on to join forces at the esteemed Earth at Hidden Pond in Kennebunkport – Justin as Executive Chef and Danielle as General Manager. Walkers Maine combines their love of food and wine with their enthusiasm for hospitality. They enjoy wearing many hats. Danielle is manager, sommelier, chief gardener, soap and tincture maker, goatherder, and beekeeper. Justin is a culinary artist, forager, and mentor–all titles that were a lifetime in the making.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following:
- Tickets are non-refundable. In the event of severe weather conditions, we will reschedule to March 30.
- Access to the Gardens is only permitted within the event window of 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- A ticket must be presented upon arrival (either printed or on a phone).
- This is primarily an outdoor event and includes risks associated with potential snowy or icy weather. It is the responsibility of each guest to bring weather-appropriate attire and equipment for the hike.
- The Gardens does not allow pets or therapy animals. However, we do allow service animals, which are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
